5 — The Wriston Quadrangle - Residential Life/Dining
The Wriston Quadrangle contains nine co-ed residential buildings and Brown’s largest dining hall, the Sharpe Refectory, known as The Ratty. Students with common interests can choose to live together around a theme such as a foreign language, social activism, politics, literature, technology, or the environment. First year students live in double rooms and are supported by a team of residential peer leaders to help them adjust to college life. During the growing season, Wriston Quad is home to the Farmer’s Market where the entire Brown community can shop each week for delicious locally grown food.
